Leadership Alignment and Personal Resilience Coach and Speaker
Ted Paulsen
My Hero’s Journey started with a plunge into a collegiate pool at BYU to support my pursuit of an accounting degree followed by a move up North to the University of Utah for a law degree. After working in Southern California, I found my way back home to Utah helping structure and fund client businesses as a securities attorney before taking a position as the COO of a growing national insurance company.
I currently serve as the CEO of Lecticon and VEST EAP where we provide clients with comprehensive cultural enhancement and employee retention solutions. We are fortunate to work with clients including Salt Lake County, Larry Miller Group, AAA Insurance, Safety National Insurance, and many first responder agencies, among many others.
Transformative Coach and Leader
LaRae Wright
My life has been an adventurous spiral vs. a linear path. After graduating from college, I moved to New York to embark on my career. The Big Apple was an amazing training ground where I found myself surrounded with opportunity and growth as a leader. I led corporate divisions with large teams in financial services and healthcare, before following my entrepreneurial promptings. As an entrepreneur, my team consulted numerous Fortune 100 clients. At the height of success, I took the road less traveled and returned home to care for my father while he recovered from a heart attack. That decision shifted my life course leading me to reuniting with a friend, who is now my husband.
Currently, I co-own a coaching business with my husband, where we coach couples and individuals about navigating life. Together we are the hosts of a top international alternative health podcast, The Observatory.

Scaling Up Coach
Dale Meador
I help ambitious business owners, CEOs, and leadership teams transform their businesses through the use of a growth system. The growth system provides a systematic process for developing the key capabilities needed to grow predictably and reliably. I especially love working with big-hearted founders who care about their employees’ growth and well-being. Some of my biggest sources of inspiration are Mastering the Rockefeller Habits, The Great Game of Business, and all of Jim Collins’ Good to Great research.
Mental Health Counselor, Trainer, and Speaker
Joel Huff
My story starts with an acting career that started at the University of Utah actor training program. AFter finishing my BFA I auditioned in New York for graduate acting programs. I ended up at Northern Illinois University for my MFA and then worked professionally as an actor in Chicago and taught theatre arts classes at Elmhurst University. In 2015 I decided to make some changes and went on my own mental health journey where I discovered a new passion to work with people on their mental health. More school followed and now I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor.
I currently serve as the head of operations and oversight in the Vest Care Center. I also help to develop the VEST resilience training, do many presentations, and webinars. I also head our CISM response team that provides in person group debriefs and individual therapy to companies as requested.
